Favour Boxes

So we finally replaced our printer ink and was able to print out the templates for our favour boxes. The above is a rough attempt to make sure it all went together properly, and it's a bit battered so the lid is a bit wonky, but they do assemble quite well when done with care and aren't left knocking around the house for months!

Here's the template for the box itself printed on to the card we're using for them. The box itself is on the left and the lid is on the right (in case it wasn't obvious) It's 260gsm card which, to be honest is a little flimsy but they'll suffice.

The Lego logos are printed on the back of each piece of card, so that when the lids are assembled the logos appear on the top on the box lid. It took a few tries to line up properly! I would have liked to have the Lego logos raised like they're supposed to be. But it would have just been too fiddly and too time consuming and I don't think we'd have the patience to do the 60 of them we would need.

These are the labels. We were tempted to get them printed as stickers that we could just stick right on, but the cost verses the convenience ratio didn't add up, bit of double sided sticky tape and we'll be good to go.

So that's the favour boxes.

I'm not too worried about them being perfect or putting that much effort into them. They're just a nice little extra, in theme box to put some chocolates in!
